What is a virtual run? 
A virtual run is a race that can take place in any location, anywhere in the world. Runners who sign up for a virtual race register online and simply choose their own starting line. You can walk, use the treadmill, run outside or participate in another race. You can run at your pace wherever you like!

With the A Christmas Story Run, your shirt, race bib, medal and other goodies are mailed to you before the actual race on December 5, 2020. You will have everything to be successful on race day!

WE HAVE 4 VIRTUAL OPTIONS AVAILABLE!

  • SINGLE PARTICIPANT: Run the race with family and friends anywhere in the U.S. or the world! We ship you the official A Christmas Story Run shirt, themed medal, custom bib, Leg Lamp tattoos and Thank You card. It’s a great way to celebrate the holidays with Ralphie and the Gang!

  • MILITARY OPTION: Enjoy Christmas with your loved one fighting for our country overseas or stateside! Purchase an entry for yourself and one for your loved one in the armed forces. Let us do all the work! We will ship your package stateside and their package wherever they are stationed! You can all run together even though you are apart and still make Christmas memories!

  • RUNNING CLUB OPTION: This is where you can organize a run at your running store or a group finale! Make this your Christmas running party! Whether it’s your end of year celebration for your patrons or the finale to your Couch to 5K program, your customers will love celebrating the holidays with you! Organize the race on your favorite course in your home town!
    • Invite your runners and have them sign up for the race under the special code that you create!
    • All supplies get shipped you YOU!
    • Hand out the shirts, bibs, Leg Lamp tattoos for the race!
    • Run the race, hand them their A MAJOR AWARD (the medal) and have HOT OVALTINE at the finish which we have provided for you!
    • Make it a “potluck” and have everyone bring a dish to share and watch A Christmas Story Movie after the race!
  • FAMILY AND FRIENDS OPTION: Make this your Christmas Celebration with the ones you love! Costumes are encouraged as you get to see what your participants favorite characters of the movie are! This option has all the benefits of the Running Club Option (see above), but with the flair of replicating the Parker family on race day!
