There are several places for parking that are near the start/finish areas of the races. The starting line is located at Public Square in front of the Terminal Tower. The finish line is located at A Christmas Story House & Museum and is located in a residential district and free parking is available on the street. However NO CARS will be allowed on the race route the morning of the race. Signs will be posted in restricted “no parking” areas. Participants are encouraged to use the free bus transportation provided by the race. This year there is no parking available at Steelyard Commons due to the high occupancy of the retail stores.
The red pins on the map below represent parking lots near Public Square.

Due to large crowd size and possible traffic congestion, we recommend utilizing public transportation on the day of the race. The Greater Cleveland Transit Authority (RTA) offers several public transportation options including bus, Park & Ride, Rail and Trolley. Many transportation options, including the Rapid, drop off right at Tower City/Public Square.
