Proceeds from the A Christmas Story Run benefit the A Christmas Story House Foundation, a non-profit foundation established in 2013 to restore and maintain the neighborhood surrounding the A Christmas Story House & Museum for future generations to experience and enjoy. The foundation provides grants, both public and private, to projects that enhance and preserve the surrounding neighborhood. From last year’s race registration and community support we have $117,000 for upcoming 2019 restoration projects! The foundation also provides educational scholarships to A Christmas Story House employees as we invest in the future. To date, the race, sponsors, participants and community have raised over $500,000 dollars.
